Can you apply or nominate?

No. Users cannot nominate profiles. The jury picks winners on its own. Instagram says Rings “doesn’t celebrate one type of content” and instead rewards creators who take creative chances.

What it means for influencer marketing in India

  • Originality matters more than trends. Instagram is openly rewarding creators who try new formats.
  • Brands should look beyond follower count. Creators with a unique style often get better engagement and recall.
  • Long-term partnerships win. Working with creators on fresh ideas, rather than copy-paste reels, builds stronger brand stories.
